First, grab an 800 g piece of salmon fillet. Now, place it skin side down in a skillet filled with boiling water. Let it cook for a whole minute. Trust me on this, it makes a big difference!

After that minute, carefully transfer the salmon to a cutting board and take off the skin. It will practically slip right off! Now cut it into three equal pieces. Add a pinch of salt and a pinch of black pepper to taste. Set those beautiful salmon pieces aside.

Next, in a large skillet over medium to low heat, melt 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter with a drizzle of olive oil. Once the butter is fully melted, add your prepped salmon and fry it until both sides are golden brown. This usually takes about 3-4 minutes per side. While it’s cooking, why not grab a lemon and cut it into slices? You’ll use those in a bit!

Now, in the same skillet, add an onion cut into thin strips, 3 cloves of minced garlic, and saute until they’re lightly golden brown. It’s like putting a little sunshine in your dinner! Now for the finishing touches! Add 50 grams of fresh spinach leaves, 150 grams of cooking cream, and 100 milliliters of water to the skillet. Mix everything together and let it simmer for a few minutes.

Finally, add your delicious salmon pieces and top with the lemon slices. Cover the skillet and let everything cook for 5 minutes.

That’s it! Your flavorful and beautifully cooked salmon is ready. Serve it up and enjoy a truly special meal.
